A confidential resource is a University resource or staff member who is neither required nor permitted to provide any information regarding an incident of discrimination, harassment, and/or sexual misconduct to any outside party without the consent of the individual involved in the incident. More specifically, these individuals will not provide any information about a reported incident to Student Title IX Case Management, the Office of Equal Opportunity, Inclusion, and Resolution Services, or any law enforcement agency without the student’s permission.
On-campus confidential resources are limited to:
- Counselors at the Barnes Center
- The Sexual and Relationship Violence Response Team
- Healthcare providers at the Barnes Center
- Chaplains at Hendricks Chapel
- The Department of Athletics physician
