The following events are national and campus events that happen annually at Syracuse University:
Clothesline Project: This visual display (now available all year virtually) is a collection of shirts that were created by individuals who are impacted by interpersonal violence. Visit the virtual collection here. This display traditionally takes place in person during October.
National Dating Violence Awareness Month (October): Join the Syracuse University community in learning more and raising awareness for dating and relationship violence. We hope that you will use #SUGoesPurple on your social media posts.
National Sexual Assault Awareness Month (April): Join the Syracuse University community in learning more and raising awareness for sexual violence. We hope that you will use #SUGoesTeal on your social media posts.
Take Back The Night: Take Back The Night is an international event aimed towards raising the awareness about the issue of sexual assault. It is an honorary evening where we give those impacted by sexual assault a chance to foster allyship and advocate against interpersonal violence and rape culture that occurs both in society as well as on college campuses. Take Back The Night occurs yearly in April. We hope that you will join us and use the #IWillTBTN on your social media posts.
